skill post 1

As you know mom wants children to study even in vacation. I want their children to be good at study. But I can't control their child in vacation since their busy playing. So, moms send children to camps which are for studying. There are 3 choices in this camp. Camp big apple, Rand west camp, and heard start splash. I'm going to decide which camp I'm going to send to child. First, I'll compare and contrast. Then, I’ll make a decision for my conclusion.

For my first compare and contrast, I am going to talk about houses where I will live. For big apple, I will live in dorms with other people around the world. There a pros or positive things which are that I can learn other countries and tell about my country which helps more people know about my country. I won't have stereotype. In Ranch West Camp, it is a home-stay situation. The good thing is that I can learn Canada's living way which leads me to good I got in a bad family, I can feel uncomfortable and I can get treated badly which leads to bad health, not a good experience. In Head Start Splash there will be on parent(s) will be with me. I will feel safe, with my parent. Also, I have someone to talk to when I feel bad, and my parents will help me to solve the problem.
The similarities are that I will be in a place where I can live and there will be someone taking care of me. Dorms-teachers, home-stay- those people who takes care in the house, and my parent. I think it will be safe. (I hope!)

For my second compare and contrast, I'm going to compare the education and teachers. In big apple, I am thought by Korean professors with at least Masters Degree from an American university. There good thing is that I have good education which will give I good education. But I can be very strict and I can have many problems and many stress. Education in Camp Big Apple, there is tests vocabulary, math, and SAT. It can cause many stress for students. But these tests will help students having better skills. In Ranch West Camp, there are taught by recent graduates from the local University. I can understand student well so students can feel better. But the bad thing is the teachers might have not enough experience so I can teach badly and make many mistakes. For education, I can choose subject that I want to do. Students can choose only the subjects that I like. It can help with my careers when I grow up. In Head Start Splash, it is taught by local teachers with Bachelor's degrees certified "International" school. I talk English which help my English skills. I can use English in many countries so it will be easier to communicate with people from other country.
In all camps, they all teachers have experienced student life before and they all have good education.

As a result, I think the Head Start Splash better. I will feel safe because I will be with my parent. I can learn English, a very important language in the world. Therefore I'm going to the Head Start Splash camp!

  1. Good, but I'd like to see you use the transition words better. You used "but" a number of times; you could have varied that and added some more transition words.
